Goo ranking<\/a> a Japanese ranking website recently announced the results of poll where they asked users about the most shocking betrayal they saw in anime.<\/p>\n

Before you dive into the list, I would like to warn you that the it contains heavy spoil<\/strong>ers (betrayals are one of the most prominent plot point for any story) from multiple Gundam series, Attack on Titan, Bleach, Lupin the third, Crayon Shin-chan and Naruto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Of the three series that I watched (Assassination classroom, Naruto, Attack on Titan) Reiner’s betrayal will down as the most shocking betrayal I ever witnessed in any form of media. The builtup, animation, voice acting and reveal just makes it the most epic anime betrayal. Although I am surprised to see that Griffith from Berserk didn’t made it into the list.<\/p>\n
