Well here\u2019s everything we know so far regarding whether or not The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 will happen in 2023,<\/strong> as well as the likely release date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Japanese anime The Eminence in Shadow<\/a> <\/strong>also as “Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute” <\/strong>in Japanese is an adaptation of the light novel series written by  Daisuke Aizawa and illustrated by T\u014dzai. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story follows Cid Kagenou<\/strong> who is a Chuuni <\/strong>and is transported to a fantasy world. The main character thinks he\u2019s just playing at being chuunibyou, but actually, it\u2019s all real, and everyone else around knows it\u2019s real, but only he doesn\u2019t know that it\u2019s real. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And because he\u2019s pretending like it\u2019s real, nobody knows that he doesn\u2019t know that it\u2019s real so nobody tells him that it\u2019s real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Studio Nexus <\/strong>produced the anime\u2019s first season, officially running for 20 episodes from October 5, 2022, to February 15, 2023, on various local networks in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crunchyroll streamed the anime outside of Japan with both sub and dub, and it received a positive reception from viewers and critics alike. Most praised it for its over-the-top action and comedy scene and metacommentary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall it was considered a hit among isekai and fantasy anime fans<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exciting news for Shadow fans as the highly anticipated Season 2 The Eminence in Shadow<\/strong> has been officially announced<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On February 22, 2023, the official website for the anime announced that The Eminence in Shadow will be getting a second season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
