The Japanese anime Tomo-chan Is a Girl <\/strong>also known as “<\/strong>Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko“<\/strong><\/a> in Japanese is an adaptation of the manga series written and illustrated by Fumita Yanagidaa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story follows Tomo Aizawa who is head over heels for her childhood friend and schoolmate Junichiro Kubota but he has no romantic feelings towards her and treats her like one of his boyfriends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Studio Lay-Duce <\/strong>animated the anime\u2019s first season, officially running for 12 episodes from January 5, 2023, to March 30. 2023, on various local networks in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crunchyroll streamed the anime outside of Japan with both sub and dub, and it received a positive reception from viewers and critics alike. Many praised it for its cheerful characters and the way it established a perfect blend of romance and comedy with emotional upbeats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
