The 2019’s Tokyo Anime Film Festival<\/a> announced on Thursday the winners of Animation of The Year Awards for animation works and individuals.<\/span>

\"Weathering<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n


<\/span>Shonen Hit Kimetsu no Yaiba<\/a><\/strong><\/em>(Demon Slaye<\/em>r) won the Television category while Makoto Shinkai’s Weathering With<\/a><\/strong><\/em> <\/a>you<\/a><\/em><\/strong> film won the animated film category. Judges narrowed these two titles among the 439 other titles which debuted between October 14, 2018 and September 30, 2019, to a field of 80 television anime and 20 theatrical film releases. <\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/span>Last year’s TAFF winners were Zombieland Saga<\/a><\/em> for Television category and Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer<\/em> for film category. <\/span>
Idol themed show Uta no Prince Sama Maji Love Kingdom <\/em>won the TAFF’s Anime Fan Award based on fan votes.<\/span>
