<\/span>Kishimoto’s new manga Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru<\/a><\/strong><\/em> is one the most anticipated manga title. Kishimoto first teased about his new manga back during a with interview with Jump Giga in 2015. <\/span>

<\/span>In the coming project he will be partnering with his former assistant Akira Okuba, who will support him by providing the art.<\/span>

<\/span>Over twitter YonkouProd<\/a> shared the synopsis\/premise of the sci-fi series.<\/span>

<\/span>\u201cAs the galaxy nears the end of its existence, it won’t survive for more than a century. A samurai receives a mission to save all the planets and its inhabitants by finding Pandora’s Box. The warrior god Fudo Myoo places a secret inside of it that will save the world. However, in order to open it, they have to find the seven keys and Hachimaru, a weak child who’s needed medical assistance since<\/span> birth might have something to do with it.\u201d<\/span>

<\/span>The premise looks really interesting and somewhat seems to be inspired from One Piece with its cyberpunk sci-fi and robotic elements. However it seems the story will rather have a small run than of Naruto Between 15-30 volumes. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

<\/span>The series will release on May, 13th<\/a><\/strong> and be available freely over the Shonen Jump  app.<\/span>
Also a 4- page preview<\/a> to chapter 1 was released back on April, 27th.<\/span>

The 4 page preview included a color page with collaboration to his former series <\/span>Naruto<\/em> . While the other three were normal black and white pages.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

<\/span><\/span>In the preview we see our main character Hachimaru along with his dog describing his wish of becoming a Samurai. Both Hachimaru and his dog seems to have some their organs replaced with mechanical parts.<\/span>

<\/span>The series will kick off with a total of 72 pages which is normal for the debuting chapter. Later it will switch to length of 30-40 for few initial chapters for setting up the characters and world building. Further it will be back to normal of 15-20 pages per issue. <\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/span>Here is what Kishimoto said about his new series:<\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/span>\u201cBeing a fan of sci-fi and Japanese rich culture, I decided to bring them together in my upcoming series. I will work hard as possible to stand up your expectations and make it better than Naruto.\u201d<\/span>

<\/span>Originally created by Masashi Kishimoto, Naruto<\/em> ran in Shueisha\u2019s Weekly Shonen Jump for 700 chapters. The story follows a young ninja, with a sealed demon within him. <\/span>

He wishes to become the leader of his village. The sequel Boruto: Naruto Next Generations<\/em> is set several years after the events of the original Naruto story and features the children of many of its key characters such as Naruto and Hinata.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
