The second season was announced back in September 2020 during a Livestream event featuring the staff and voice actors. Back then Cygames confirmed that Studio Kai<\/strong> will be replacing P.A. Wo<\/strong>rks from last season so you might notice a bit of change in art and animation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 2 English Dub Release<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For those who like watching anime shows in English, the bad news is that Uma Musume: Pretty Derby does not have an English dub yet despite the show\u2019s popularity among Western audiences. However, this does not rule out the possibility of an English dub being made in the future, especially if the show\u2019s popularity increases in the West. For now, however, if you want to watch the show, you have to watch the original Japanese version with English subtitles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uma Musume Pretty Derby is a multimedia franchise created by Cygames. The series has inspired a manga adaptation by S. Kosugi currently running on Cycomics website. An anime adaptation by Studio P.A. Works premiered in April 2018 which aired in 2018. A spin-off anime television series adaptation based on the spin-off by Jet Kuma Umayon aired from July 7 to September 22, 2020. An upcoming gacha mobile game for Android and IOS smartphones is scheduled to release on February 24, 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series takes place in a world very much like our own, great racehorses of the past have a chance to be reborn as “horse girls”\u2014girls with the ears and tails of horses as well as their speed and endurance. The best of these horse girls go to train at Tokyo’s Tracen Academy, hopefully moving on to fame and fortune as both racers and idols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
